Refund Policy

Summary: CoinHash provides digital cloud mining services. Due to the nature of cryptocurrency mining and the immediate deployment of virtual machine resources, all purchases are generally final. However, we do offer refunds under specific circumstances outlined below.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all mining plan purchases made on the CoinHash platform. By purchasing a mining plan, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Pre-Deployment Refunds (Full Refund Eligible)
If your mining VM has not yet been deployed, you may be eligible for a full refund under the following conditions:
- Your payment was received but your VM has not yet been provisioned or started mining.
- A technical error on our platform prevented your VM from being deployed within 72 hours of payment confirmation.
- You submit your refund request within 48 hours of your payment being confirmed on the blockchain.
To request a pre-deployment refund, contact us at refunds@coinhash.io with your Order ID and registered email address.
3. Post-Deployment — No Refunds
Once your mining VM has been deployed and has begun mining, the purchase is considered final and non-refundable. This is because:
- Server resources (CPU, memory, network) are allocated exclusively to your VM immediately upon deployment.
- Mining operations begin generating BTC rewards the moment the VM connects to the mining pool.
- Infrastructure costs (data center, electricity, network) are incurred from the moment of deployment.
- BTC rewards earned during the contract period are non-reversible on the blockchain.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
CoinHash may, at its sole discretion, offer partial or full refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Platform Failure: If CoinHash experiences a prolonged outage (exceeding 7 consecutive days) that prevents your VM from mining, and we are unable to extend your contract duration to compensate.
- Duplicate Payment: If you are charged twice for the same mining plan due to a payment processing error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
- Unauthorized Transaction: If you can demonstrate that a purchase was made without your authorization (with supporting evidence), we will investigate and may issue a refund.
5. Refund Method
All approved refunds will be processed in cryptocurrency (typically the same currency used for the original payment) to a wallet address you provide. Due to the nature of cryptocurrency:
- Refund amounts are based on the original cryptocurrency amount paid, not the USD-equivalent value at the time of refund.
- CoinHash is not responsible for any price fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of refund.
- Blockchain network fees for the refund transaction will be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Refund Processing Time
Refund requests are reviewed within 3–5 business days. If approved, the cryptocurrency refund will be initiated within 7 business days of approval. Actual delivery depends on blockchain confirmation times.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are explicitly non-refundable:
- Mining plans where the VM has been deployed and has started mining.
- Any BTC or other cryptocurrency earnings already credited to your wallet.
- Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Losses due to cryptocurrency market volatility.
- Requests submitted more than 48 hours after payment confirmation (for pre-deployment refunds).
8. Contract Extensions
In cases where a refund is not applicable but you have experienced service disruption, CoinHash may offer a contract extension to compensate for lost mining time. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is offered at our sole discretion.
9. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate your case by emailing disputes@coinhash.io with:
- Your Order ID and account email
- A detailed description of the issue
- Any supporting evidence (transaction IDs, screenshots)
Our management team will review the dispute and respond within 10 business days.
10. Policy Changes
CoinHash reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The refund policy applicable to your purchase is the version in effect at the time of your transaction.
